Books in Motion
Books in Motion is a brand new collab between Verkadefabriek and Huis73's young adult book club, De Boekenbabbelaars. The first edition is all about The Perks of Being a Wallflower, by writer and director Stephen Chbosky. Exclusively for young adults between 14 and 27 years old.

We’ll kick the night off with a short lecture by guest speaker: Roel van den Oever. Roel is an English literature teacher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He will talk about the history of YA novels and more. After the movie, he will be available for questions! 

Good to know: you don’t have to read the book first, but it’ll definitely make the movie even better. Afterwards, feel free to hang out and chat about the book and film in the Verkadefabriek café.

The entire evening will be in English.
